Heli Swiss Helicopters Ltd. was established June 5, 2000 by Niklaus A. Schnidrig. Nick's objective is to provide helicopter maintenance, refurbishment and repairs at top-notch Swiss quality in North America. Heli Swiss Helicopters Ltd. is a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization providing maintenance for the following aircraft:
Over the past years Heli Swiss has carried out a number of inspections and refurbishments of A-Star and Bell 206 helicopters. Heli Swiss has specialized in the major repair work of AS-350 canopies for a variety of customers. All repairs are done in accordance with manufacturers approved data and materials.
Experience & Training:
Niklaus (Nick) contributes a wealth of experience with over 30 years in the maintenance and piloting sector. Having received his apprenticeship from the Swiss Air Force in Switzerland in 1972 and completing his apprenticeship in 1976, he proceeded to gain experience overhauling and inspecting S313 (Alouette II) and S316 (Alouette III) at Pilatus Aircraft in Switzerland. Nick has gained much of his experience and knowledge in Switzerland, France, Canada (Yukon & Alberta), the USA (Texas & Nevada) and most recently British Columbia, Canada. He has extensive factory training and is experienced in a wide rage of flying techniques such as Longline, Seismic, Drilling, Mountain, Offshore, S.A.R., Aerial Construction, Logging and Birdtowing.
